Default Traction Control Issues

My traction control has not really worked since day 1. However, lately its beginning to work. However, in the past 2 days its been working too much. It won't let me go over 10 mph and the more I push on the gas the more it grinds. I don't know what its grinding but its nasty. When this started to happen it made a nasty burning rubber smell. I finally just turned it off and all was good. But today after I turned it off it keept grinding for about 30 seconds before the car returned to SOP.

I believe it'* supposed to take up to 30 seconds to turn off -even after you hit the switch. My SSE is the same way. In fact it doesn't really turn off all the way- just the braking portion. I can hit the gas when I'm going 30 mph and when the mph shows around 60-65 on the HUD the timing gets pulled severely -doesn't like the difference in tire speed from the front to back wheels.
