went to the shop wiped down the whole frame where oil was
Where on the frame was the oil? That would help us diagnose it a bit better.

its on the passenger side near the oil filter.

there isnt oil on the filter at all just everywhere on the passenger side

Maybe timing cover gasket, see if you can pull off the pass tire, and the little peice of the wheelwell made of cardboard and look in there and see where it'* comin' from.

Your oil leak is most likely where the head, lower intake, and block meet in each corner. 2 spots on each side. It'* a non-pressure leak, and relatively high on the engine which is why you didn't find it underneath right away.

This is a common point of gasket erosion at 100k miles or so.

Moving to 92-99.

I should clarify......the oil that gets out is lifter/balance shaft spatter.
