I was pulling out of Rite Aid today when my check engine light came on. Pulled into the self-serve car wash, during which time my girlfriend said that the inside of the car turned into a sauna (the heat was on full). Temperature gauge was fine, though I thought my exhaust smelled rich.
Went down the street to Advance. P0108, MAP sensor high circuit. Popped the hood, and the sensor seemed very loose. When I undid the clips, it came out in two pieces (see thumbnail). How odd. After pulling up Dan'* writeup on the code
on my iPhone, I decided to replace it immediately instead of hitting a junkyard Monday.
Did it break because of age, or should I be worried about something?
