Default Magna-steer,,stopped working? 1997 SSEi

When we bought this car, I noticed that the steering was very light effort at slow speed, and would firm up slightly at road speed.

But then after a trip to the dealer for some warrenty work, it lost that low speed, low effort feel.

I asked if something had been done to it, and to have it rechecked, but was told, everything was working properly.

Is there a componant somewhere on the car that goes bad, that I can check my self?
I do know that there is an eletrical connection, that was inspected, and seemed to be inplace.

Thanks for any input,

Leon.

Hello and welcome.
Are you saying that it is now tight at low speed?

You checked the electrical connection, how about the fluid level. Bet you have, but thought I'd get it out of the way.
