I have to replace the power steering rack, local pepboys says 290$ for rack with magna steer or 218 w/out it.

How do I know if my car has it ?? Does VIN help anyone determine ??

IS there a place where I can enter VIN # and it tells me every part # in my car ??

Being an Ei, I would assume you have it as it was standard. The car would have been an oddball special order w/o it.

OK,,,other than pep boys, any ideas where to get better deal, or the gm part # so I can search gm parts direct? I can never find anything there without the specific part #.

GM# 26041917 for magnasteer rack has been discontinued by GM unless you can find one on ebay or craigslist
