Doesnt changing the TPS require some kind of recalibrating.

Yes, When changing the TPS or MAF sensors you should disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 20-30 minutes to reset the PCM.

Lucas, the PCM/ECM should relearn most things within about a 1/2 hour. However depending on many factors it does keep learning all the time.

Is this what you mean?

Interesting. Did the '93 not have a rev limiter in neutral and park? I thought these cars would bounce of the limiter right around 4k.

the 93 does not, you can take it up the whole way to 5K
