Air mix actuator
Okay, as of today i have the flashing temp. and no heat :(
I'm sure i know the answer but can the actuator be changed without dismantling the dash and does the airbag make it even harder ?

Depends on whether you want heat NOW, and deal with pulling the entire dash later (yes, you must):

The airbag is not a problem for this temporary solution.

My 95 SSEI was having the same trouble. Bought a new actuator and after about an hour and a half had my air working great. Disconnect battery, remove glovebox and lid, drill to series of 3/4 in holes in the middle of the black support under airbag (this will create a notch that you can get your hand in, pop off left side of actuator rod, remove front actuator mounting screen, pull actuator forward to crack rear mounting screw eyelet (you can still mount the new actuator both front and rear screws).
Opened up my old actuator and found that the nylon gear inside had split down the center. This allowed the arm to move freely. The arm on the new actuator does not move at all.
Hopes this helps.
