Thinking of using the Bonnie to tow a motorcycle
I'm thinking of using my 92 SSEi Bonnie to tow my bike. I believe she already has a external Trans cooler, so the cooler issue should not be a problem.
Saw this hitch on e-bay.

Has anyone used this hitch? Need your advice about the hitch. Is it a good hitch, and were there any problems attaching it?

Doesn't look as rigid as the Reese I have on my 99, but I'm sure it would do just fine for you. How many lbs., in total, do you plan on towing? And, for what distance?

That hitch looks weak. Mine is a totally different setup, where it spans much farther forward under the car to distribute the load. It goes around the exhaust outlets.

Our h cars are suppose to be good for towing 1,000 pounds. So your bike and a trailer should not exceed that weight.
But, you might want to keep it in "drive", not overdrive. Yes, gas mileage may suffer.
If you are on very level roads, it might be safe to use OD, but do not go up any grades in OD while towing anything.
Reason - "drive", when it hits that gear, is a straight connection from input to output (in a sense) but with OD, the gears are having to work to provide the .7:1 ratio for OD.
Drive is a 1:1.
Now about the best hitch/trailer, i do not know.

What kind of bike is it? You'll probably be OK, but that little 3rd gear tip may come in handy. Always a good idea to give the oil and filter and trans fluid/filter a change if it hasn't been done lately. Expecially before any long trips. Little cheap insurance.
