None of these will usually harm the car in the short term. They are the warning signs.
What noise does the PS pump make???????

Default hello

Hi Nick
I havent had time to read all this post. Seems like its all the,,, similiar problem... Do any of you ever see the " teeth"? on your belts start to wear off. I have one belt that the outer edge seems like its starting to dissapear. And I can't remember if it was that way when I put it on or not.

Also Im gettin the darn bearing noise. Wana know if I can just replace the bearings on the supercharged engins pulleys or do I have to replace everything. Blah Blah.

Still need to get a fan motor in.

james, you need to read through the thread and then the link that is here. Info provided to do the bearings. If you are getting a belt chewed up, you may also need a new pulley or two. Is the belt riding in the center of pulley or does it look off to one side or the other?

Im going to try and video it so U can show you whats going on. I read through the link and Im going to hit that soon. Sounds like a real easy fix... Do we have any part numbers. And what do I ask for when I go to the auto parts stores. Pulleys? I would like to replace all my plastic ones I hate it when things go wrong.

Spent 369 bucks a year or so ago when the pulley on the engine broke. Got to fix this asap...

James..most parts stores will ask what size pulley and ribbed or not to determine the right ones. Measure yours before going to pick them up.

This sound like the problem i've narrowed down here

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=95206

I'm putting on a Gatorback belt this weekend so while I have it off should i try to take off the tensioner pulley and grease it? Is there another pulley that I should do the same? I have a 3.8 series one.
