HD stands for Heavy Duty. The SSEi models got a HD transmission to hold the extra power and torque provided by the supercharged motor. They were also different gear ratios than their naturally aspirated counterparts.

Your ECM (computer) is configured for a different transmission than you put in, therefore it was never told how to react and work with the transmission.

Let'* call it 2.97 ratio since it'* a 4T60. The 65 was a 2.93. Need him looking for the right thing this time around.
