just remember that "Federal law prohibits dealers, repair shops, etc. from disabling airbags. However if necessary, you can contact and obtain permission from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to disable an airbag." there are usually reasons for things like that

well not that it is gonna help or not but i dont think having any airbags in my car is gonna help now i think airbags maybe overrated i mean the way those things fly out man i have a welt the size of a baseball on my chin and neck where it hit me and its still red as hell and its 5:30 am and im off to work a 12 hour day so ill see what you guys post while im at work and reply after 7 pm tonight thanks for all the info guys i really appreciate it

I know of many people that get *airbag deletes* but most are after the cars have been in a fender bender and they deployed... but its not technically legal or safe to drive like that
but nobody is going to test them or ticket you should they not "deploy" again if you get in a wreck later

well i am thinking of trading it in and try to find a newer bonneville maybe like 00-04 ill be looking on tuesday since its my only day off
