Well guys, I checked out the ebay link regarding the front hub bearing and purchased it yesterday. Unfortunately I received an email saying my money was refunded because they don't ship to Canada, only U.*. I'll have to look around here but I'm guessing I won't find a great deal like that.

Also purchased AC plugs. Does anyone know of a good deal on plug wires?

Thanks
Cathy

I know that Bill is hooking you up on the Wheel Hub, buut wasn't sure if your gasket question was answered.

Yes, you probably should get the LIM gaskets and change them out. It'* a common failure mode.

Hey guys,
Thank you to all who were able to help Cathy this past week. Some of you may find this funny but every night when I call her she'* sitting in front of the computer waiting to read all your replies to me. We both really appreciate all your advice. I'm only home for today and will be heading out again early tomorrow morning but want to take a minute to update this list and let you know what Cathy bought this week
.

1. Supercharger coupler - I have the coupler only - Need part #'* for all necessary gaskets and o'rings, etc. I will buy from ZZ Performance.

2. Motor mount - Is there a supplier in the U.*. where I can buy this (and possible part number). I need to find out if it'* the front or rear motor mount.

3. Wheel bearing (front driver side) Still awaiting reply from ebay supplier regarding shipping to Canada.

4. Emergency brake cable - Haven't looked into this yet.

5. Major tune-up - Bought AC plugs. Does anyone know where to buy a good quality set of wires?

6. Valve cover gasket - Bought orange rubber

7. Transmission fluid leaking from pan - Haven't bought yet. Need to find supplier.

8. Door pins and bushings (driver side) - Will buy at local supplier

9. Rear driver side window doesn't work - Haven't looked into this yet.

10. Cruise control doesn't work - Haven't looked into this yet.

11. Check engine light on. - My son brought it to school but the instructor was unsuccessful in finding codes. May try again another day.

12. Traction control off (light always on) - I'm going to check again after the front bearing is replaced.

13. Slight hesitation - Will recheck after tune-up.

14. Air conditioner doesn't work - Will have it recharged in the summer and see if this solves the problem.

15. Pulley below alternator (sounds like bearings) - Does anyone know where this can be purchased online (and part numbers would be helpful)?

Wish me luck. Looking forward to your input and advice. I'm trying to get this car on the road by the middle of June.

Frank
Other items Cathy bought were die electric grease, simple green auto degreaser, brake cleaner, throttle body cleaner, oil filter, oil, and anti-freeze.

Thanks again for all your help.

2. Motor Mount - gmpartsdirect.com #22146628 or trans mount., Front - 22175154, rear - 22145828

5. Wires - AC Delco (stock) or NAPA Beldan wires are fine

7. Trans. gasket kit - Should be able to get or order at local parts store. Gmpd lists the gasket as #24204624.

11. CEL - As noted above, the '95 was a transition year. It is OBD I, but has an OBD II connector.

15. Pulley - Check your owner'* manual to positively identify which pulley it is. Then you should be able to buy or order from your local parts store or call gmpd, they will be able to help you. If all else fails, our Pontiac dealer here locally has no problem sending me parts by mail. If you have one in your province, they should be able to do the same I would imagine.

Way to go Cathy...

Like I mentioned before..if you have trouble getting them to ship to Canada...holler.. I've been known to help a neighbor to the north beforre. <wink>

On the pulley.. when you call for one of the fixed pulleys. They will ask which belt it is part of. Supercharger belt (front one) or the accessory belt (behind supercharger belt)... also.. they will ask what size pulley. Here we measure in inches... I assume if you called your local store it would be metric. To measure..it'* very simple..it'* the diameter or the pulley.

I going to ask Cathy to take you up on your generous offer BillBoost, expect a pm early next week. As for the pulley, it on the SC side so I'm going to have to order one soon. The only thing I was able to accomplish today was take a look at the drivers rear power window motor. Since there was power to the motor I decided to tap it several times along the bottom where the motor is and it started working. Hopefully that is a perminent repair.....Hey I can hope can't I?

I'll keep you updated......
