Important things not to forget to change while rejunevating Bonnie
Ok, so I made up my mind : I will be rejunevating my Bonnie instead of buying another car (we have too much of a great love-hate relationship to be set apart).
-I've found a 4t60-E HD tranny from a used 1995 Park Avenue.
-I'll get engine and supercharger rebuild kits. Won't be installing them now but I'll have them.
-I'll get new Moog tie-rod ends and ball joints. Also a new steering rack and it'* bushing.
-New control arm bushings.
-New motor mounts.
-Gas tank looses gas from rust so I'll change that, along with a high volume pump and a new sending unit and fueling neck. New charcoal canister and I'll redo the hoses from the tank to the engine compartment. I'll remove any rust from on the chassis under the tank but I changed my pump last year and it wasn't so bad.
-Already have new rad, heater core, thermostat, water-pump... cooling stuff in general.
-Already have new KYBs with Moog springs.
Am I forgetting something important or something people don't usually think but worth changing???

I'll be ordering all parts for JC Whitney to a friend living in the States : Canadian salary with US prices makes everything look so cheap and affordable

why dont you order them from rock auto or something and have them shipped to you. if your friend has to ship them to you, you will have to pay shipping twice

Because I live just the other side of the border. I don't mind paying taxes but shipping is free to the states and with all I'm ordering it'd be near 200-300$ plus taxes plus brokerage fees to get to Canada.

Make sure the lower intake manifold gasket was changed to an aluminum one, if it hasn't then I'd get the Fel-PRO, or AC Delco aluminum LIM Gasket.
If it has to be replaced you can do it before dropping the new motor in, it will be a lot easier with nothing in your way.
Also, I am pretty sure shipping to Canada from RockAuto is not too bad, if you get everything at once, and try to make sure it all comes from the same warehouse, then you may get it shipped to you for around the same that will be spent on shipping to your buddy, and then to you.
I'd at least make a cart of what you need, and see for sure what they want to charge you.

Just to settle things properly : I did order parts from Rock Auto to try it out.
You were right, it was easy and much cheaper than JC whitney. Also, they had more choice.
Got a spanking new has tank, fuel pump and filter for 80$. 120$ with taxes and shipping. It'* ridiculously cheap compared to any auto part up here. And since I paid taxes right away I didn't have any brokerage fees.
Great great place to buy. Thanks a lot to whoever chimed it.
