well if you want to be technical. easter is to celebrate the day that

Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, rose from the dead and proceeded to dress up in a large rabbit costume and egg the houses of every one of those people which watched him suffer at Cavalry. in addition to the ritual egging (which has since been distorted), he also hid miniature bombs, incredibly advanced for His time, all over the yards of those same people (which has since been distorted, as well).

how else does it make sense?

Haha, or how about a Pagan holiday celebrating fertility that was "converted" by Christains to make their new religion easier to swallow...

Or maybe it was the egging thing, I dunno :P lol
