Gutter Grill for 89 Bonne
Interested in Minor mods that I can do to make my Bonny look better. I came across this guy on Cardomain, and his look'* SWEEEET! [url http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/209154[/url] 8th picture down from top!
I beleive the guy name is Alex, and he said he rec'vd help from a guy name Runde??/
Does anyone know this guy'* contact info...
Better yet, anyone know how to make these modefications? Says it took about an Hour, which means 1/2 a day for me , I'm sure!

I think that you would be better off putting grille material BEHIND the original grille and mount it to the back. I plan to do this but I gotta order the mesh I want, I am using honeycomb style mesh.

Yes, I think a better thing to do is to take the stock grille, cut out the crappy plastic from the center and mount the mesh behind it. I'm thinking of doing this with a '91 bonne grille. I kinda like the look of it more than my '89...
My favorite minor mod was replacing the stock shifter with a leather-wrapped one from a 2000 olds alero. It matches the interior, and is a lot more comfortable than the shifters we have. If you're lucky enough to find one at a junkyard, that'* probably the simplest mod you can do, provided that your car has a floor shifter. Just pull out che "c" bracket that holds it in place with a flat screwdriver, and replace!
