WD-40 is not a lubricant and should never be used as one except for a very short period of time.
It was originally designed as a water-displacing formula. Hence it'* name, WD.

I did not use WD 40. This is called white lithium grease This stuff is thicker than WD 40 and it is for metal to metal contact points. It sticks to wherever it is sprayed and will not heat or freeze off. It is working, and that is all I am worried about for the moment. :P
