Default zzzzzeke finally got a tranny cooler (pic)

Yep, just finished installing a carquest tranny cooler after doing a complete tranny service. The cooler is recommended for full size vehicles towing up to 2500 pounds. My tranny always shifted hard into 2nd since I got it rebuit. Just went for a test drive and shifts like a new car. Very impressed and I highly recommend this to anybody (I know most of u punks have a stock one on your sse and ssei'*).
Here'* a pic

I put some spacers to keep the cooler off the radiator - little more airflow and cooling in mind??!!

don't most cars come with a tranny cooler? I saw a bunch of them at autozone and I might get one if you say it makes it shift like new.

Looks good!

I've always preferred hard shifts myself. I actually plan on firming up my shifts with a Thrasher shift kit and a PCM tune in the near future. I like to bark the tires going into second and third gear.

Mine arent hard like that way. They just take for ever to finally shift! It sounds like I'm at 7grand but I cant tell because my car has no tach. I think there are several different ones at your local autozone to choose from and they are fairly cheap. Like around 50 bucks I think.

I think the stock tranny cooler is just a couple of lines that run along the inside bottom of your radiator. But putting on the aftermarket one cools more fluid and mounted in front of the radiator will cool the fluid more.
