Zilla, Little Brother, and Grampa:
Just got the starter replaced on the SLE a couple days ago, and I'm in the process of swapping Zilla'* top end on from last year so I can work on the 'intercooled' top end for later this year. Time to turn the prototype intercooler into something more reliable and permanent.
Found an issue with the SC. I THINK this is the original from the SLE (I've lost track of what'* where or from where):

Rotor coating loss. Last year'* supercharger rotors will be going into this 'intercooler machined' case when it goes back together. A replacement SC just isn't in the budget this year.
Here'* last year'* SC getting ready to go back on:

And here'* the target (with last year'* LIM, ported to match Zilla'* ported heads):

This top end will only be on the car for about a month while I re-work the intercooler setup in the LIM.
While I was putting things back together, Grampa came by for a visit:

Some of you may remember my good friend Hua (owner of www.audiofilesinc.com and WCBF Sponsor had an 85 for awhile, and sold it for a cyclone......he just traded the cyclone for this 87 and brought it by for me to give it the once-over).

(stock wheels are in the back seat)

(K&N RX-4750 anyone?)

Thing'* in pretty good shape. Rebuilt 3k miles ago, only 130k on it. Locking rear end, manual exhaust cutout, larger turbo, meth injection, and a few other little goodies.

Nice GN there...
Wren, when you say "Cyclone", do you mean the Mercury "Cyclone", or the GMC "Syclone"?
There'* quite a bit of difference between the two
