i used to get upwards of that with my Impala LS in the 30 range.

but you're also turning a much heavier transmission, and two more cylinders with more displacement. Not to mention a higher gear ratio. With all those combinations, that mileage is impressive IMO.

I think you are looking at the wrong indicator.

I also get 70 Inst. mpg going down hill. The problem is there is always a uphill for every down hill. From the video it looks like you have the DIC set to "INSTANT mpg".

The meaningful information is the AVERAGE mpg. What is your average in all city driving and your average for all highway driving over at least 2-3 tanks of gas? I was thrilled that over three tanks of premium my AVERAGE mpg was 20.1 city and that over two tanks of hilly interstate driving at 72-75mph that it was 25.9 mpg.

For a true read you need the average of several averages.

i wasnt showing AVG MPG i was showing my MPG going on a level surface. i was playing in the car and clicked to instant and saw 32 and filmed it... when ever im crusin on the highway I always reset AVG, i have gotten a little over 700kms per tank of highway driving.

City forget it unless you are light on the gas and putt up to the posted limit forget it. i never even pay attention.

the trip was about 600 kms I filled up when i got home and it took 40 liters of fuel so i think its a keeper lol
