Frankly i used the STB to hold onto when working back there. A stool, and some mechanix gloves make working back there easy, you can almost lay on the engine too if you have to.

Just don't scratch your fender!
I just stand on top of my */C get in therre.....Same thing for my O2 sensor... lol

to be honest, i dont know was later when i finished.. i put in plugs/wires and a new battery....and then had to work all day today

Yeah I seem to shead a little blood and skin every time... Not as bad as a 3100 Grand am or the newer bonnevilles tho...lol
on mine i didnt shed any blood on the back, i cut myself on a bur ona piece of plastic on the front of mine... to get to the back plugs on mine i just leaned over the engine from the passenger side and used my left hand to change the plugs...
