What Kind O IIdot Would Do This Whorage
Came home for lunch and Bottle of attitude adjustment and thought I'd share these pics.
The brand new Bonny has been dismantled, all the body plastic armour done right ( no thanks to GM), and the body sanded. PAINTING TIME!
I keep looking at the car anfd telling myself "it will be alright." HeHeHE !
Nitrous is here finally and it looks like the rest is "connect" the dots. Chrome fire extingusher on it'* way. And the chrome air compressor and chrome tank for on demand rear lift has been worked out and will be ordered Monday.
After a month of planning and talking this Bonnies finally getting off the launch pad and I'm as exited as a little kid at Christmass. Stay tuned as Project GXPVENOM is approaching light speed.

A marblelized blend of Maroon Candy and Blood Red Candy swirled on a Gloss Black Base.
Probably a BlackWidowSpyder and some webbing airbrushed. Not sure untill the Marble is shot on. Maybe a Coiled Cobra. My new plates say GXPVENOM so I want to do some light airbrushing , front to back(down low) to compliment that theme.
Photos dont show justice to how bad the OEM Paint is sanded and scoffed.
Also its getting STS Northstar badges and an original Bonneville "v" badge for the front and the original rear "bonneville" bagde under the present one. I want the first and the last Bonneville badges on it.
Going to present it at car shows as "The last of a great model run and history theme" and hopefully wrestle some trophys from the ricers.

The paint sounds sweet. I wouldn't go to wild with a big cobra lol. But small would be okay! And uhh be careful about the badges! I am not sure how they would look yet. I hope everything turns out well!

LOL< I was wondering what youd say when ya saw the cranberry all F***ked up. We dont have a hood bagde anymore and I think a newly chromed Pontiac inverted V would look sharp there. Well your a club of one again my friend but I'll look at the inner door and engine compartment and see Cranberry and think of ya
supercharged, I'm eager to see what she'll do in the quater also, with and without the nitrous but everyone will have to be patient with that one...I'm approaching $40,000 spent already and wont hit the track till I have jetting size, limiter i hit before second gear, and pratical experience under my belt with car before I lauch it for real. I really hope to meet the Intense team members, Will and the rest of the quatermilers at the big meet and draw on their knowledge. This is a show car first and a go car second.
I've street raced all my life but have little "organized drag racing experience"
And more than 25 years after it happened, I still fell like a fool for the time and money I spent putting a 400 station wagon engine in a 76 Monza and Blowing it at my very first quater mile
