I'm Confused by this. I'm from NY and I wanted to do the same thing. I wanted to either get an old impala or crown Vic owned by the police, and drive it. I wanted one from down south *for obvious reasons*. The ones from Florida all have the attennas still attached but the strobes taken out. Plus, taxis around here still have the cop attennas in them. I could get in trouble for that? I also wanted one with the working flashlight on it. I love though.

By the way, I love how the impala looks. It looks great. I'm a huge fan of the impala too. Very nice work thus far.

you cant get in trouble for it unless like stated you have the red AND blue flahing lights and the siren hes basically taking a decpomissioned cop car and making it appear as such as when the sherriffs sell their cars with the wheels/spotlights and pushbars still on them.Steve she looks good man

I wanted to add strobes to the headlights and tail lights, but not red and blue. What I want to do is make it more of a show car that looks like a cop car. So it'll be alright if I had the wheels, antennas, spotlights and pushbars. Awesome. Now I'm happy. haha. Thank you for that.

no problem just no colored lights and whatever you do dont run the clear stobes while driving as that will also get you in trouble

Police Impalas don't come with column shifters. At least USAF ones don't.
