You can still change the profile of the tire accordingly and maintain the same outer diameter of the whole wheel.

ie:

From 205/60R15.

With 16" wheels, I'd think 205/50R16 would be ideal.

By the way, the pic of the first wheel is four-lug? It'* the design I'd prefer, but are you sure that it comes in the proper bolt pattern/offset?

check it out here.

Pay no attention to the word( Miata) on the site.
the difference will be usually less than 2 mile per hour. in comparison to size availible
from 15'* to 16'*
or 16' to 17'* ---or ----17'* to 18'* for those that might be wondering.
.
enter your tire size.
enter the tire then size you would like.-or bought.

.
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

for example I had 235/55/17 and went to 245/45/18
I am now...
speedo reading 60 mph i am actually going 58.9 mph

chrome and gray cars don't go together. Go with option #1.

I think #1 would work better also.
Require a little more maintenance since they're clear coated

Alright Andrew, No one is trying to tell you what to buy or what to put on your Bonne. The point is that there are opinions, votes, & ideas from many of the members, that'* it. You decide what you like on your car ultimately, not what the forum likes or wants. When you get er fitted out with all new rims & tires, it will look great just the way you envisioned it. Uh, and don't forget to post pics.

wasnt trying to yell, but just get the point accross. I had already said twice that I was keeping the same tires.

Oh, Yeah! We ordered #1 today. Might get them in a week or so. Major pics will come! Thanks all!
