You can still change the profile of the tire accordingly and maintain the same outer diameter of the whole wheel.
ie:
From 205/60R15.
With 16" wheels, I'd think 205/50R16 would be ideal.
By the way, the pic of the first wheel is four-lug? It'* the design I'd prefer, but are you sure that it comes in the proper bolt pattern/offset?

Pay no attention to the word( Miata) on the site.
the difference will be usually less than 2 mile per hour. in comparison to size availible
from 15'* to 16'*
or 16' to 17'* ---or ----17'* to 18'* for those that might be wondering.
