why did you choose to wrap the one section of the front header and not the rest of them? have issues with the spark plug wires/boots?

I knew someone would ask! I wrapped the middle pipe because if you look in video, the pipe comes within a 1/4 inch of the fan motor. Also, if you could see right through the headers, you would notice that less then a 1/4 of an inch is my A/C line directly below the middle pipe.

You know, there'* a much easier, and cheaper way to prevent the fans from getting too close.

I too have SD headers on the Regal. The way I got around the clearnace issues is by using the fan assembly from an Oldsmobile Intrigue with the LX5 (Shortstar DOHC 3.5L). Due to clearance issues with the engine, the primary fan is 1" less deep than the ones you have, and they should also bolt right up. I got mine for $42 at a junkyard.

Part of the reason why I opted to go with the different fans was because I also didn't want to get the header wrap wet while driving through puddles, get salt stuck to it, and get salt trapped inside the header wrap. I know they're stainless, but I'm not taking any chances because I had to have these bent to clear the firewall.

For me the fan issue isn't that bad. The header wrap is more a temporary thing until I get a custom heat shield im making in there. Mocking it up of cardboard and having my father take it to his company and have him make me one of stainless or something. The only thing I have to modify is where the A/C Line was, and the O2 sensor hitting firewall. I need to beat that area in with air hammer.

I see where your coming from with salt being trapped, but it is stainless and I would only worry about that if the wrap was on downpipe section, etc...

Sounds good. If you choose to change the muffler a series40 will give you a deeper tone. A free flow cat will also deepen it. I don't suggest removing the resonator. This tends to make it a bit raspy. A cam will really make it sound great.

Not looking to go crazy with the car, a normal 3.6 setup is all I was going for. As for the cat, no thank you I'll be fine not worrying about a clogged cat. Mufflers would be the only thing I would even consider, but I've heard trying to make these cars sound anywhere near good @ idle is impossible without a cam. I've heard these cars even with cams and 3" exhausts and when they rev it up a little bit it still sounds terrible.

You can make the idle sound real good with a cam, and make the WOT sound good, but there'* a mid point you really can't do anything about.
