I almost dont like the 96-99 corners cleared. I think a clear light diffuser (cieling style) would help that look. I do give you major props for doing it though.

that tint looks AWSOME...give me a picture of what ours would look like with tint.

Mos95B...I have looked into the Silverstar turn bulbs, but cannot justify the $20 for them...I'm cheap about that sorta stuff i guess. What type are yours or did you alter them yourself??? I really like that look.

I like the way the corners look without the reflector, just makes it look like a more cohesive part of the headlight (in my opinion, anyways).

And I am SUPER happy at how the tint turned out. Now, all I need is a spoiler!

Does it ever end..... :?:

Altered them myself. Get some spare bulbs, clean them, lightly mist them with silver or chrome paint (do not touch the glass before during after the paint) and then let them dry. I would suggest at least 2 days. Maybe even bake them in the oven. You have to make sure they are 100% dried and cured, or they will fume up and this will happen http://www.mos95b.com/New/Image_IMAG0005.JPG Not fun to clean the insides of your headlights...

If you mist them very lightly, and then make sure the are completely cured then you get very inexpensive "chrome" amber bulbs.

I had a pic of them lit up, but I can't find it right now...

EDIT: Here it is!!

Very interesting, I never would have thought of that. I like the fact that there is still some light emitting, too. Rock out...maybe I'll have to give that a whirl sometime soon.

can understand 20 dollar bulbs? For all the front lighting on my car I spent over 120 bucks. Thats the headlights, high beams, fog lights, turn signals, corners. Paid hefty prices but well worth it for the apperance of the vehicle. And for the turn signal bulbs I have to give APC a thumbs up on the chrome series. I have them and they emit blue when lit and very bright blue when turn signal is activated.

jeep2bonny..I've seen your car on cardomain...nice. LOVE the color. And the rims. Great looking car!

See, I do not want bulbs to emit blue light..Just a preference I guess. And I did spend $200 to get my husband black chrome projector headlights, matching clear marker housings and black chrome clear corners for his Silverado, but I still cant spend $20 for signal bulbs.

To each their own I guess. I like the look of the SS bulbs, dont get me wrong...if I can get them cheaper I will snag them up for sure, but I'd rather use the $20 for a tank of gas

exactly. I see where your coming from with the tank of gas. I put 20 in today and recieved only 8.4 gallons. I worked as a Gas attendant in the early 90'* and wish those days were back again. A BUCK a gallon. I bought a set of angel eye foglights and were going to install them when someone had been in the basement during the extension project that was in process. Wish I found the person.
