My update:
This is the vent for the HVAC system that reaches through the center console:

Shifter assembly:

Carpet, no seats:

FOOD!

The seats are in.

The trunk is packed with extras.

2000'* Ford Taurus floor mats (free):

A friend of mine bought a police siren megaphone at Goodwill, and now I have hooked it up to a 12V DC adapter. I am truly debating making it a car horn. I think the best way to do it would be to change out someone else'* horn secretly and tell no one. Oh, yes.

There'* some weather stripping in there, and the cabin is so much quieter now. It'* fantastic. I'm really glad I'm going through with this because the previous owner had smoked pot & cigars in the car for 260K miles. It was pretty stinky. I'm going to wash all this with Meguiar'* for the new car smell.
More to come!

The seat, by the way, wasn't all that bad. I had the tear stuffed with Wal-Mart bags and covered in even more tape. Also, the headrest had a pretty decent cover on top. Pretty funky seat, though.
I just drove my car today after I had put in all the weather stripping. I drove it from Indianapolis, IN to Muncie, IN and back. I strongly believe the interior is much quieter than it was without the carpet and weather stripping. I could actually talk! Going over 70mph, though, it got pretty loud.
Next go the center console, radio, exterior, and various performance mods. I'll keep you posted.

I've been running car audio stuff because it'* just so easy to hide it under the carpeting. I'm putting in my audio, and I figured I might show you some of my speakers and 1 out of 3 amps I have ready. The 3rd of 3 1.5 farad capacitors is not pictured.
Also, I added another grille. It'* not quite permanently affixed, and it'* shinier than the other because it'* just so new. It'll darken with age, and then I'll bend it more into place. The front is looking better now. Since I've fixed the headlight, I may not need to replace the entire front end... Well...

Someone dropped off a Hayabusa 200 55 17 tire, and I put it on one of my old rims.

Here are some more pictures of the audio installation. We listened to the rear speakers and woofers today. No clearer audio has ever before been heard. It'* so beautiful. There'* just no way to explain it, so I'll just have to go to meets to show this off. Shucks. The following pictures don't show me. My friend is in there installing amps and such.

Nice and cozy:
