Actually I don't even see the top decals.
The classic Pontiac Racing shows up towards the top and looking in the rearview mirror it displays so I can read but does not impede any vision of the road.
The INTENSE decal sits down low enough that it also does not obstruct my rearview.

Stickers are usually made from adhesive backed paper or cheap vinyl. They have no UV inhibitors and will fade quickly. Short life. Very low cost.

Decals are made from UV resistant vinyl (sometimes reflective) with a special adhesive that is water tolerant but as soon as they are applied and the water squeegied out, become permanent and cannot be removed without applying heat or special adhesive removers. Long life. Higher cost.

I applied all mine to the windows so they could be removed easily if I want without fear of paint damage.
