Ok folks.... was really bored tonight so I installed some new lights.
... and I took the camera w/ me....

Here'* a pair of red lights, and normal ones... painted with Chrome paint... looks very cool when not lit.

And my corner lights.... not sure if I'm 100% pleased or not.
They look better then the ambers when off... and I don't like the ambers when their on very much. But the normal lights are kinda "yellow/pinkish" when compared to my headlights and other front end lights. Any idea if they make halogen or "super bright" 194s? hehe

I'm getting red x'* on the first two.
Not sure about your area, but anything other than white light on the lisence plate will get a ticket here. Be careful!

i used to run a set of apc super white 194s in my corner lights

when off the bulb is blue.....when on it looks like this

I like the red licence plate light, hope you dont get into trouble. Good job, I may do this now too it looks so good.

I used to have red lights over my rear plate, and after a mile of following me the cop finally figured out I had red lights. I got a ticket, but the judge dismissed it as soon as he read what the ticket was for. Not sure if you'd get that lucky, but Jim never got in trouble with his 89. Probably because they are on the back and most don't care. I was the unlucky one who got pulled over for it. I changed them back to white because it wasn't worth any more possible hassles. Looks great red though!

Will... the red lights on the LP are a sorta no-no here too.... but I've run red LP lights in my 91 for over a year and I've never been pulled over for it. I was however pulled over several times for the red neon LP.

I've taken the time to read the legal code around here, at it states that the only color you can have on the back of your car is red (unless white for reverse only). I told this to one or two cops that pulled me over for the red neon LP... their statement to that was they could ticket me for a "license plate cover" instead...which in NS law states that nothing can cover the LP.... silly I know..... I was even pulled over for a CLEAR cover years ago at a check point.

As for the 194'* on the front... those pix from last night are normal 194'* with chrome paint. I went to CT today and bought some SuperWhites... I've got them installed now and I must say I'm now very happy w/ the lights. (Thanx for the info zzzzeke)
