Merlin, I took this shot a few days ago with my Canon D30 with the small image setting. 1440x960. The large setting is 2160x1440. I guess it turned out okay. Trying out different exposure settings.

Nice *** 327.... hehe
If you had that shot to do over... I would try bringing the camera down a bit... and to the right.... just my humble opinion.... that way you'd have more of your rear end in the photo, and the lower profile would remove the windshield from view and give it (again IMHO) more of an edge....

Then again... I don't know anything professional about photography....

Hey flyboy, not a bad shot at all, but here'* some stuff to reconsider. I'd say move the butt down a little more, so the tail lights aren't in the middle as much, maybe move the car so the light is hitting the trunk a little better on the one corner, or do something crazy, like have the sun on the side with cool shadows.

I was working on taking night shots without a tripod tonight. Here are a few I thought turned out kinda cool.

No tripod..... wow.... I shake like you wouldn't believe... (benign tremor syndrome... from my mothers side). I'd never be able to pull off a shot like that bridge w/o a tripod.
