Autozone sells the reverse lamps. Halogen, 250% as bright as the stockers. It won't mess with the lamp monitor, but don't keep it in reverse for extended periods. They get hot enough to bubble the plastic lens of the taillamps in the summer. I have a minor case of this now, but now that you're aware of it, you'll be fine. I can post pics of the effect if you want. Hardly noticeable.

[quote="driverjohn2005"]Just got back home from droping the car off to get it'* windows tinted ! To get a warante on the tint i had to go with the "legal limit", which is 35% in Washington state . I'm kind-of disapointed that I couldn't go lower but oh well . I'll have pics. up as soon as i can. They said that it should be done by 6:00 tonight (droped it off at 2:00). Should cost $230.

I'm SO EXCITED! :P [/quote

230 ouch i had mine done for 125 lifetime warrenty against turning purple
i went 20%

you will love it i make the car look completely different

5% is the legal limit here in NS

Not that I'd ever go that dark... 35% is enough for me.

You can tint the top 6 inches or so in most states.

Yea that'* the way it is here too.... tinting the windshield is a big NO NO.... .... unless you've got an alergy to the sun... in which case you can have all your windows tinited.

(Small tibit of info I have because a friend of mine'* girlfriend has some sort of skin disorder.... it allowed him to have all windows on his Ranger tinited. He just keeps a piece of paper the doctors office gave him and the paper the RMV gave him in his glove compartment.... totally legal.... but a bad/sad way to get it.)
