Razr, did you check your splash guard(*)? I've lost numerous 10mm wrenches and sockets in that location, but they always come back. I just have to undo a couple 10mm bolts...

Another bump! Agrazela'* goods arrived today.

-2005 L26 tensioner/alternator assembly with heater hose barbs
-What'* left of a 97 GTP harness (many connectors were snipped off)
-Oil pressure kit with adapter gasket
-Two 2-prong temp sensors and pigtails for them
-L67 MAP pigtail and GP-style alternator pigtail
-New viton fuel rail o-rings, both sizes
-Some nylon clamps for home-made vac line rigging

Pretty snazzy.

I apologize for the terrible picture quality. I'm working on getting a camera pretty soon so you guys can get a full view of all my random parts and pieces.

I found some more pictures I had not yet taken off my phone.

I needed a way to wash off all that crazy, slimy stuff and found that a garden hose does the trick. I tried a pressure washer, but it exploded. So much for that. I just dried off and went straight to the garden hose after pouring some Super Clean stuff on it.

Sorry for the slow response Badbuick. I want to put in the F40. It'* been done before on W-bodies like the Grand Prix, but not on H-bodies. Custom brackets have to be welded in, and the transmission is so weak that it could really hold up only to a stock L67. However, I'm going to tear apart mine and build it up to take the crazy power of a turbo L67. If you're up for it, weld in some custom brackets, add in the clutch pedal with its reservoir and cylinder, and see about making the shifter fit in just the right place. Kind of difficult.

ClubGP Message Forum troubleshooting

A friend of mine, Jon, as well as 1337ssei, came over to my garage on Monday. We did quite a few things. Then Jon had to go play World of Warcraft because that'* very important. 1337ssei drove him home so he could visit someone more fun than a 94 Bonneville owner. Well, I drove out to pick up my 99 Regal owner, BetrayerWO. He helped me figure out jack stand positions so that we wouldn't depend on the chassis falling on jack stands upon having the rear passenger side trans mount disconnected.

The hood is still on the car because it holds a fluorescent lamp. That may change soon. More on that soon.

This blurry thing is a reciprocating saw. We used it to cut AC lines.

One of the other two guys put one of the chains from the engine hoist onto my rear accessory bracket. This thing is aluminum and held on by some bolts around the timing cover. I didn't pay attention to what those dudes were doing because I was under the car and on the side... So when the engine started coming out and then crashed back into the engine bay, the long arm smashed into my fluorescent lamp on the hood and absolutely demolished one of the lights. Here are some blurry pictures I took after letting it all hopefully clear out.

So, this is how my engine is currently resting on the torque axis mount area:

I've called over 1337ssei to bring me a socket for the axles. The engine & trans are just sitting in the bay and holding on by the hoist and two axles. The rear passenger side trans mount had to be cut because the bolts were stuck and I had no air tools handy, but the other engine and transmission mounts were safely unbolted. Because I ran out of stuff to do, I took off my fenders and front bumper cover.

This video shows me rocking the car as it'* hanging above jack stands and swinging from the engine hoist. Nothing too special, but it'* still cool. There'* no audio. The filmographer is BetrayerWO. The fenders and bumper cover were removed after the first two homies left. The removal is probably necessary, but I'm not sure.

I'm putting on a different bumper, modding the fenders, and installing a Series 2 L67 with a turbocharger and a 6-speed manual transmission. Tearing up is the most efficient way to clear some space.

I hope not to run into many more problems. It should be pretty smooth from here on out I hope. I'll keep you posted.
