Oh, how good it feels to be massaged while cruzin in da lo-rida.
Finally I got myself a half-way decent sub and amp. Audio King had a few good deals last week so I picked up a Infinity Reference 1232W to replace the old MTX Blue Thunder 12" sub and a Rockford Fasgate Punch 200M Mono amp replaced the old Boss amp.
The Infinity is rated @:
300 watts RMS with 1200 watts peak.
It has a sensitivity of 93dB.
A BIG PLUS is it has dual voice coils.
The RF is rated @:
Maximum Power -400 watts
4 Ohm load Mono -100 watts RMS
2 Ohm load Mono -200 watts
I know they're not the best, but for the prices (Infinity $80.95, RF $99.95) I couldn't pass.
I checked on e-bay and I'd have only beat these price of the sub by only $2-3 (after shipping) and I would have had to wait half a week to recieve the sub, and there were none of these amps on e-bay at that time.

Lowlyfe83 -actually they are RF RCA'* and Monster cable power, and ground and the remote power wire is just a piece of elctrical wire I found in the garage that my brother had left over from one of his systems.
My deck is a Pioneer DEH-P47DH. I want to sell it to get something with at least 2 sets of pre-outs so I can amp my Infinity components up front. I just had a guy offer me a Alpine 7953 for $200 with a JBL GTO 200 watt amp. I am thinking about it as that would be a nice deck -I believe.

Those alpines are nice, i had that deck in my last car, and it works good. If you need more pre-amsp why not just get a splitter or an amp with a pass thru for pre-outs. My JBL GTS 180X has those, and most decent amps do. You can get away with an RCA y cable splitter for most applications as well. The alpines have better bass management though, but the pioneer has the EQ. That deck only has a single 2.2v pre out. though, there is a higher up model of that deck, that has a dfs alarm, and multiple pre-outs, but that alpine is a nice deal, just get a fit kit, a harness and you're good to go.
