Your car may have been rear ended before. You do have SE tail lights on your SSE, and the fact that your rear emblem is missing makes me think that someone was trying to get the car repaired without paying the deductible. Cheaper lights, no Badge = savings on repairs = no out of pocket deductible.
Then again, never say never when it comes to automobile manufacturers. They made */C'd SSE'* --why didn't they just put the SSEi badges on those? And then there is my car. We had a member here that didn't believe that Pontiac made any SE'* with */C'*.
I think your car is distinctive regardless of the reason.
I know how you feel, i drive my dads SSEi around all the time, (i'm 16 years old) and 2 hours after i got my license, i hit a gaurd rail and totaled the whole side of the car, and the front fender and the head light, and the mirror got ripped off. Oh and there was a giant gouge right down the side of the car. I tell ya, these cars are notorious for bad luck.. I almost hit a salt truck when i was going to get my bestfriend for an exam, because i was passing this damned Neon, and i intended to get in front of him and behind a bus but the *-O-B sped up behind the bus to play funny i guess, so i had to speed up and pass the bus too but a salt truck came around the corner so i had to swerve in front of the bus and anybody who has driven in Canada in the winter knows what its like to hit the snow in the center of the highway at high speeds. I lost control, swerved about 6 times, and then finally went off the highway luckily the only damage was to the back bumper from the tow truck because i swear the guy was a drunk.. sounds like me.. just kidding... But i've had a lot of other close calls and they have all happend while i was driving sanely.. It only takes a second though. BUT ANYWAYS i guess that was boring
