It rained last night, and the sun finally came out this morning. I thought it would be cool to get some pics of the car with the rain still on it.






I also finished my paint project today. I gutted my air box and then installed everything. Here is a picture of the finished project. I uploaded step-by-step pictures to this album.

Thanks everyone.
My verdict on the gutted air box:
I just gutted the box, no other mods, and I still have the basic Fram paper filter.
The car seems a little smoother during moderate acceleration, and definitely handles hills more easily. Other than that, no noticeable performance gains. It is a little bit louder than the non-gutted box, but not by much.
