Haha ok with the jokes... yes it was $200 dollars. The guy thought it needed a transmission, long story short the internal cooler was shot in the radiator. I bypassed it, added an external i had laying around (actually an internal that i had removed from another radiator) and plumbed it in-line to the secondary cooler (the truck has 2 from the factory). I then drained and filled the tranny with filter, drove it 500 miles, then drained and filtered it again, putting a quart of lucas transmission fluid in it. Works like a charm, and NO the transmission is not going out. Shifts perfectly. Of course it did need SOME work, i mean c'mon it had 155k miles on it. The rockers are rusty, there'* a good dent in the bed (as seen in the pics) and it needed a front u-joint, but that'* all minor things. Basically the guy just wanted it off his property and didn't want to deal with it.

Not to mention Chrysler makes the worst tranmissions in the world =).

Is the 318 the 5.2 liter or 4.7? I'd think it'* the 5.2 becuase a ford 5.0 is a 302.

That'* one heck of a score for $200. Nice job.

I tend to look for the cheaper vehicles too. It pays off from time to time.

Well, for 200 bucks I can't blame you.
But I still wouldnt buy a Dodge truck unless it had that sweet Cummins badge on there.

Ya well it did need some work, the front passenger u-joint was noisy when i got it, the WP started leaking after about 5k miles, and the tranny (yes, it'* original and it has 160k miles on it) every so often dowsn't downshift to first at stops. But that'* pretty rare. Oh and the check engine light is on, something with the EGR that i'm not looking into. Other than that it'* a decent vehicle.
