Thought I'd post this now before the guy picks it up tomorrow, because I won't be able to handle doing it then.
Good bye, my dear friend. A little photo journey for fun:
First day I brought it home:

Found the Bonneville Forums (GB you all) and was bitten by the mod bug:

First major repair: Sunroof drain tubes. Who would have known the TMNT were making a nest?

Test for leaks!

Preparation for its new look, gold lace rims:

Cleaned up, repainted, mounted:

Oooh! VHT!

Of course the various ONBF'*!

Emblems were pretty ugly, cleaned up and new overlays

Time for a polish!

New to me steering wheel:

Fast forward a bit, Torque Star rims, its second new look:

Sickens me to sell it, but I've enjoyed every crazy minute of my four year ride with this great car. Real nice older couple bought it, so I think it'll be looked after well. I don't want to sell it, but it hurts more to see it sit in the driveway and not being enjoyed. Maybe I can buy it back in a few years?
Cheers Bonnesaurus, I'll miss you.
Cheers to all of you on this great forum. I've met a lot of new friends, and will stay in touch despite not being a Bonnie owner!

Luckily now that we are the GMForum, we can love you no matter what GM you drive
But in all seriousness, keep in touch, and thanks for sharing your story. Sorry to see your faithful companion leaving.

I bought a 2006 G6 a few weeks ago and the Bonnie has been just sitting in my driveway. It hurts to sell it, but it hurts more to see it just sit there. I gave it a good wash today before the guy came to look at it, so it'll leave on a clean high note!

This is why a lot of us own GM'*. They might not be the most reliable cars on the road, but they have personality, and as much as we can, we love them. They mean a lot to us. They aren't just beaters with heaters. Its about enjoying your car every minute you own it, through thick and thin.

Grrr,
Buyers so far have been a no-show this evening. No phone call, no email, no kiss my a$$.
Nothing like toying with my emotions! Here I had myself all prepared to say good bye to it, and they don't even bother to call!
I'll keep you posted.
