i wanted to know what shelf ice looked like on lake michigan, as i have never seen it. so i took the car over there (bout 5 minutes from the house ironically) and shot a couple pics. hope you all enjoy!

I was wondering why in photo 2 up from the bottom of page, it definitely appears that you have a jack stand under the rear of the car? Were You doing the rear hubs there? LOL..
I like the photos Jason and shelf ice must mean it is frozen real good near shoreline!

lol. backed up on some snow to avoid hindering traffic. where those big "waves" are is where the dropoff is. (i swim here alot). so im assuming the currents roll up the dropoff and push the ice up like that. looked amazing in person.

as for the car, i was actually planning on taking pictures of it for once, so i ran it thru the car wash. lol
