Thanks Jim. I do not have the autobahn package, but I guess that means better fuel economy. Besides, I won't be driving it that much anywho. Still has plenty of pull.

Got a lil worried today as I went to the car wash to douche out the engine bay a little. No high pressure used. When I was done, it idled a little rougher, and the TCC would lock/unlock above 50mph. Then a SES light tripped. I went and scanned it and got cyl. 6 misfire & TCC performance/ unlocked codes. I cleared them, then took her out on the highway for 20miles. Around 65-70mph it would be at 2k rpm, then surge up a few times then go back to normal. It gradually got better & idles smooth again. I'll watch it, but I assume it was just water that got somewhere it wasn't supposed to be.

"Your Ride: Pics & Videos
Post pictures, sounds, and VIDEOS of your 3800 or Northstar powered Bonnie/Grand Prix(H & W Body ),Buick( H & C Body ) or Oldsmobile( H,C,G & W Body ) here. "

I read the descriptors twice before posting- so it technically is correct although I see where you're coming from.

Its possible you got some water up into the coil packs or something? Should be ok if it dries out.

just wanted to point out that the hood may have not been repainted because some auroras came from the factory without a hood emblem
