No reason now that you should'nt just drive it 'till it drops, while taking every extra bit of cash and saving for a nice clean SSEi.

Time for a stich-n-glue session with your bumper cover. Take the cover off, bring it inside to someplace warm, and let it sit for a while. You can even use a hot-air gun (used by model airplane types to shrink the covering) to get it soft. It will return to shape. Then stich up the crack like a football and flood it with epoxy.

After I got tagged in the rear-end up in Jacksonville, the crumpled bumper eventually returned into it'* original shape. (I didn't even have to take it off the car..after a week of 90 degree days, it was pretty much back to it'* original shape.)

i only have liability on the car but the insurance of the people that hit me is going to pay for it. but i have no intentions of fixing it.

the money will hopefully go towards a different car. im still not sure if its going to be totalled or not, most likely not but since it was knocked out of park there may have been damage there so that might cause it to be totalled, who knows, the insurance people are being stupid as always
can you sell me the master brake cylinder if yoiu have abs. thanks

That'* the crappy thing about that generations' of bumpers. They don't just pop back like the newer ones do, they just dent in and remain that way.

but they usually protect the car better if you bump into a pole or something better than the bumpers of today. Dateline did some stories about this
