let me rephrase that. cutting is the wrong term. I needed to lightly sand the plastic dash trim, around the radio opening

LOOKS GOOD!!! Give ME 3 Months and you guys will see everyone around my car... lol ( in my dreams) but ya i got my amp screwed in the back of my seat and it stay good and looks good

I would assume its an RF equalizer too?

I was going to do that, but after i install my 7" widescreen there wont be enough room for the equalizer so im probably going to mount it in the existing ash-tray location.... (non-consoled 94)

yes its a RF PA2 preamp control. if your 7' screen is a 1 DIN mount you can still have the Preamp control. you could just mount the Preamp control under the screen

The problem lies in that my screen is approx 2-3 DIN tall (its not a folding screen, im actually modifying the dash to fit it flush... saved approx $300 )
