Replaced Cracked Center Tail...and MORE!!!
So, my center tail was bumped sometime in a parking lot, I guess, and cracked the right rear backup light section and above it.
Not too bad, but it let in moisture and burned out the bulb. Probably would have just replaced the bulb except for the easy avialability of a new used center tail from our friendly east coast crack (parts) dealer.
It was a simple swap, only took more than an hour because I decided clean up all the crud under there and paint the nuts white to match my trunk lid color.
And Viola! All done...sorry 'bout the fact my car'* dirty...one thing at a time.
Here it is, all working and everything....But wait!! What'* that???
Something bonus....
Love that look!!! (even with the insteady camera hand, lol)

Hey thats what my left reverse light lense looks like after some dumb kid shot it with a BB gun

Go to the WANTED section and post if you want a new used tail. Someone may be able to get one at a parts yard for you.

It'* a subtle change that won't likely be noticed except at night. And then only by folks who have any idea what Bonnevilles are and how they look. I figured that since I was already changing the center for the cracked lense, that I would have Bill hook me up with the mod at the same time. And still for much less than buying a new OEM center!!
