cartridges for gaming systems are so durable its insane....one time i found a game for n64 on the side of the railroad tracks and it was so sunfaded, muddy, and the label basically flaked off that i couldnt even tell what the game was if my life depended on it, so i took it home and washed it up with some water, windex, and paper towels and let it dry out, i really didnt think it would work looking at the condition but i pluged the thing in and it was cruzin usa haha i was amazed that it could survive all of that. i have tried the nes in the car before but not a permanent thing but that is cool how you show the system off. good work.

The trick to fixing the blowing problem is that the metal strips inside get loose and dirty, and the condensation from the blowing makes contact.....just thought I'de add that.
Thats a pretty slick install :P I think that an in-dash NES would be awesome ie. 8-track player lol

That highlighted part makes you a genius Pheonix...i'm going to the thrift store to find a junk NES that i can completely strip down....i know that the cartrige slot has a heat shield that would easily protect it from the heat from my cd player..and without the case and the cartrige slot attached the main board would be small enough to fit under the dash and be completely protected. then lengthen the controller port and 72 pin connector wires i would have and in-dash NES situated in the DIN and 1/2 slot in our cars!!!!!
This is gonna be sweet!!!!!!
