Was out cruising some back roads tonight and was able to get a speedo shot. Just got my upgraded tune today and put it in, it was originally tuned for larger injectors by mistake than what it actually has in it, it ran strong but not what I had originally expected. After talking to my tuner we figured out what was going on. Anywho put the new ECM in it tonight and now it REALLY comes alive when you get on it, couldn't believe the difference, it'* like a whole different truck!

Only gave it 1/2 throttle or a little more in 1st gear so I could hook up and not just sit there and smoke the tires off lol.

I did buy a turbo kit for it a few years ago, it'* a universal kit, sitting in the basement collecting dust. I just don't have the time to do the fab work to make it all work. Probably gonna sell it and eventually go with something else once the transmission and rear end is upgraded.

You wanna hear a whine that'll make you drool? youtube a Silverado with a magnacharger, talk about a sweet sound! Also a Silverado with a STS turbo (rear mount), another thing that'll raise the hair on the back of your neck lol.

Still stuck on which one I will or would do, or if I'd stay NA and do some more work to the engine.

Heck no, not turbo whine,**** , you can never hear the damn thing. I'm addicted to supercharger whine. It makes heads turn.

you can hear turbos just as much as superchargers. i would rather have turbo because of how they work, hes already have traction issues, a well setup turbo would allow a decent launch and come in higher. even my work truck 550 sounds cool especially when i have the old 4400 tractor behind it and you are going up a hill.
