Being that we are on this subject...

Does the witdth of the rim have any impact on the handling characteristics of the sidewall, being that both the 7" and 8" wear the same tire?

And did you notice any handling diffrence?

heck yeah big improvement. much less body roll now and rides smoother on the highway.

although, considering my old tires were shot, that probably had alot to do with the overall handling/ride improvement.

i'm seriously considering just keeping the 16x8s on the SSE...i like it more and more everytime i look at it. i'll just have to get another set of 16x8 crosslace wheels for my Cutlass later.

too bad i can't trade my Torque Stars straight across for some nice silver 16x7 Bonneville crosslace wheels...but can't afford shipping charges right now :(

25mm offset? You shouldn't have ant problems. Stock offset for the 92+ Bonnie is 40mm.

Part of that is due to the alignment and lack there of LOL.....Tires aren't the correct size for the car either.....Can't win'em all.

Looks good. The wheels look much more flush with the side of the car.
Are those 8" wide cross laces much heavier than the bonnie ones?
