Because I got it on the cheap on ebay and it is brand effin new

And besides, I wanted a black unit to match the ECC mod I did.

Thanks for the comments guys. For a while I wanted to give up on this project, because I certainly couldn't catch much of a break on getting the engine fixed up. I wish I had pics of the interior when I first got it...man, talk about ick. But it'* coming along now, and it'll be ready for the next meet we have here. I think.
