So you're gonna love this one bill. Was drivin down the street today what do you know, flashing SES light aka misfire. I'm so sick of this mess. Just want the car to run and not have any issues. I'm guessing this is the coil issue you were talking about?

A bad coil tends to show up under mild to heavy load and goes away under normal driving, unless the coil has failed. Coils also get worse as they get hotter. When you get a miss, pop the hood and feel the coil. The bad one may be much hotter then the other 2.

That'* just it wasn't pushin it too hard. Then again I have been drivin all mornin, a lot of stop and go traffic. Noticed a stumble when I was sittin at a stop light. Then 5 min later takin off from another stop light ses started flashin.

Scan the car. might only find a P0300, which tells you nothing you don't already know. You need a P030x code and then you know what cylinder. Could be a bad plug wire, cracked plug, bad coil, bad ICM

Yep, heat can do funny things to electronics. Check the terminals on the ICM, if they are corroded they can't send the proper voltage to the coil causing a weak signal.
