i got the pod at auto zone for 30 bux, it is made by FAZE. it was a universal fit and i had to use a heat gun to heat and mold it to my pillar trim, then painted it with interior paint to match the trim as close as i could. it holds the 2 1/16" gauges nicely 
i'll probably fall victim to the hype too

Jeffrey, two questions:
1. What brand and part number of paint matches our interior?
2. You should hardwire that radar. Cleans up the install nicely. Put a switch down on the console for the power.
I like the pillar install. I was looking at those recently, now I think I'll go for it. I'm thinking trans temp and a boost gauge that will actually read 'on the scale'
Either that or a trans temp and voltmeter, since the "i'*" don't get one.

yes, they are definitly autometer, i have an air/fuel ratio meter and a boost gauge.
Will, thats not radar, lol that is my G TECH pro competion. i use it also as my shift light. it plugs into the cig light. and we dont have one one the roof yet
. also, the paint doesnt match exact. i just got something as close as i could, they want 85 bux at work to paint it to match exact. because they can only mix a pint min. at a time.
