Pics of my just purchased and detailed 1998 Bonneville SE
Hi All,
Here are some photos for your viewing pleasure. 114K Miles on it. I'll post in the other area about some mechanical questions that have been found at the shop.
Next up:
1. Window tint this week.
2. Kenwood Head Unit with Sirius and iPOD interface. I have the components, install is scheduled for this week.
3. New door speakers (you can see in a couple of the photos that someone tried to replace the speakers by pulling off the grills from the front instead of pulling the door panels. The radio shop has to take a look at the car while they have it and let me know what will fit and works for my budget.
4. Replace one bent 16" wheel (ordered from eBay and on the way)
5. Replace broken remote (ordered from eBay and on the way)
6. New set of (4) tires soon. I'm guessing Michellins.

There is only one code I'd even look for on the car being that its a 97... Look on the Sapre tire cover for Option 1SD

SLE'* got the SSE styling in 1998 - Looks to only be a NICELY optioned SE. Nice ride!!
Edit - why does the TITLE say 1998 and your SIGNATURE say 1997??
If it'* a '97 that thing has to be an SLE. Check for the 3-digit "H4U" code on your spare tire cover.

Yes, the owner said the car was a '97 in the ad and I joined here before I picked up the car to get educated on the car. When I signed the title, it listed it as a 1998 model, not 1997. Forgot to update the signature!
I'm not sure what the name of the color is?
The moldings embedded into the car say "Bonneville SE"
