gold was ok when there was other gold...

True, if you had the badges and ghetto gold rims, then it would make sense to keep the gold. I personally loved the gold theme I had on mine. But chrome goes better with black anyways, IMO.

hrm... well, I was talking about just leaving the color in the middle of the arrow. I thought it was red. I might be wrong. Don't have the spare grill here to look at.

If you go the mesh route, see if you can find something like what they use on the CTS-V or Jag *-Type/R grille. Definitely keep the emblem, go silver if you want to, but keep the dart.
