Love the car in that color!! Usually anything in the marron family isn't my thing, but seeing this I revise that opinion.

the 2002+ aurora had the chrome tips. They're not the same as my tips though. They look slightly different. I'm not sure what those tips are from. lol.

Now you all got me curious! I will check the dealer maintenance report (yes, the previous owner kept every one of them!). Maybe there will be a part number or something of the replacement exhaust used. I will let you know what I find.

All of you make me feel confident regarding my purchase. I have always wanted another Bonnie, but never thought I would get one this soon. I guess it was fate....

alrighty. You're alright. It appears all 2002+ Bonnevilles (SLE+SSEi) have those tips. They were changed in 02. I like them much better than the 00 and 01 tips.

Course I'm a little partial to the '02 SSEi. Looks good in almost any color...

Order of preference for me: black, MRM, Diamond White.

yeah...they went back to using the old tips like they did in the 96-99 SSE/SSEi/SLE vehicles
